Lorenzo’s is the best pizza in town. My favorite is the classic pan pizza. The food (hot honey is also delicious), the physical building, the staff is all second to none. Ali, Chris and the team have done a great job in building not only a great restaurant but a lasting legacy. If you need good food in Lorain, come to Lorenzo’s.
From the moment we entered, we were happy. A young girl,Julianna, greeted us at the door by holding it open for my friend and I. She guided us to seat ourselves and was a pleasure to talk to. We were given 3 menus each regular menu along with wine/alcohol list and a lunch menu. We split a small pan pizza done to our preferences. Next time, we'll try the wood fired pizza. Waitress was pleasant, kind, friendly, and helpful. There is still real customer service around, and it's at Lorenzo's pizza. Our pizza arrived looking great and very hot. And then there was silence. After serving each of us a slice, great cheese pull by the way, we took our first bite, and we both just ate in silence with big smiles while shaking our heads with delight. I am serious. This is good pizza. The bottom was lightly crisp, cheese, and toppings tasted fresh. It's been a long time since I had really good pizza. They checked on us and made sure we had what we needed above and beyond. We got cannolis 4 mini w/chocolate chips to go. They were also very good. And a frozen wood fired all American pizza to try later. We will be back but will be trying delivery service also. Didn't know that Lorenzo's had a Lorain location. Best wood fired pizza in the area! And...available every day. For many years, I have been searching for the perfect meatball that would taste exactly like some meatballs that an Italian neighbor made in my youth. Today was the day. The closest I have been. 90% there. Staff was very friendly and professional. Will most definitely return. Next time is carryout and sunset at the lake!
The best pizzas from the family that loves pizza more than anyone around. The brick oven artisan neo-neapolitan-new york sourdough along with their classic pan pizzas make for a unique pizza dining experience. Don't skip on the fresh salad selections w/ their signature blush Italian dressing.
This pizza taste like its backed by 10 generations. Delicious beat in Lorain if not Ohio. If they are packed the service is just as exceptional as if they only had 2 or 3 customers amazingly ran pizzeria
Me and my partner are new to the area and were craving some hot honey pizza. It didn't take long to find Lorenzo's, as the high reviews spoke for itself. We went, were greeted nicely, ordered the ultimate pepperoni and it was out in a decent amount of time. When I say I've NEVER had local pizza that tasted so, so good I truly mean it. The cheese, the sauce, the bread, everything was cooked perfectly- I even willingly burnt my tongue trying to eat it! Blew away my expectations, really. Will happily be returning very soon! :)
Lorenzo’s Pizza – Lorain We stopped by Lorenzo’s after seeing the huge line at their booth during the Lorain International Festival—and it was so worth it! We ordered the homemade meatballs with garlic knots and an old-style pan pizza. Everything tasted absolutely delicious. Truly some of the best meatballs we’ve ever had! Our server Arianna was incredible. She was so friendly and went out of her way to be kind to our baby, which made the experience even better. We’re already talking about making Lorenzo’s our new family pizza spot. We’ll definitely be back soon!
Love this place. My husband is a pizza snob. We searched high and low for the best wood fire margarita pizza. Even ventured to Cancun Mexico hoping for the “one”. Can’t say enough good things about when they opened only 10 mins away! We dine here often. It’s small and perfect. Not a lot of dine in seating but the staff is family friendly, and wonderful. Never had an experience we didn’t leave happy! We love the drink menu and dabbled into other options of food but seem to always go back to our faves (Margarita and anything w the homemade vodka sauce * chefs kiss!! *.) The owners, the staff, the food, the vibe I can’t say enough! Love this place!!! #notdana
